Happy New Year

Happy New Year everyone! Yes, we are still here, we've just been crazy busy! We traveled to Colorado to visit our family for Christmas and had a (mostly) good time. We got to see both sides and some extended family, although of the 19 people we visited, 16 of us got very sick. That was the downside but honestly Dave and I were so grateful to get sick with family around. We were both out of commission and our family really stepped up and took care of the girls for us!

Between family meals, baking cookies, opening presents, and getting sick, we even managed to go to my cousins wedding. It was a beautiful ceremony with lots of personal touches. And if any of you have ever attended a wedding where my family is involved, you know the reception is always a good time. We danced the night away, loving every minute.
