Colorado Springs part 2

The second half of our trip was spent with Dave's side of the family.  They live about 15-20 min away from my parents so it makes it easy to see everyone when we come to town.  They were actually evacuated in the recent Waldo Canyon Fire so I think everyone was just thankful they still had a home.  Dave got to celebrate his younger brother's birthday with him by climbing two 14ers.  They had a great time and even celebrated on the top with cupcakes.

The girls enjoyed playing with their Daddy's old toys, bubbles and a trip to the zoo!  We also got to be there to celebrate Grandma Jackson's birthday!  As soon as we mentioned birthday to Norah she started searching for the cake. Finally after a full day of waiting she got to dive in and have her piece.

The rest of the time we just hung out, talked and played a couple games.  We also got to visit Dave's grandmother, the girls Great Grandma Knorr.  She just celebrated her 95th birthday!  As usual, the trip went by really fast!!
