Easter

I know I am a little behind on this one but Happy Easter everyone!  We had a wonderful day celebrating Jesus' resurrection!  We went to a local church, had a quiet lunch, the girls took naps, we did an egg hunt and had your traditional Easter dinner, chicken kabobs.  (Menu is limited when you don't have an oven).  We also had fun teaching the girls about the meaning of Easter via plastic eggs. 
Each egg had a special surprise in it for us to talk about:
1: Bread, Jesus ate dinner with his friends
2: Cross, Jesus died on the cross for our sins
3: Cloth, Jesus was wrapped in cloth and placed in a tomb
4: Rock, there was a big rock rolled in front of Jesus' tomb
5: Empty, there is nothing here just like what the people found when Jesus rose from the dead!
6: Candy! To celebrate New Life we can have in Jesus Christ if we confess and believe!

SOOOOO sunny in Alabama!!  We took about 50 of these (not kidding) and the girls would not look for ANY of them.  Oh well.
