Lately

What a crazy week! Now that I have started blogging and thinking back over our weekly events it's no wonder I am tired every night! This last week was no exception. We celebrated my birthday, went sledding with Norah, went to a Children's Christmas party for Dave's work, had lunch with friends, Dave finished up his class for this semester, we went to a birthday party, had some of our friends kids over for half a day, took the girls to see Santa, severely bruised my tailbone, took the dog to the vet (twice actually), and we have one of the cars in the shop. Whew. I do love our crazy busy life though!

My birthday was good, I got a 2 hour nap that day which was a wonderful gift! Dave also baked me a yummy chocolate cake & had a few fun presents for me.

Also on my birthday was the children's Christmas party for Dave's work. It was at one of those bounce house places where kids can bounce on bouncey castles, etc. Norah was not a huge fan of it but she did enjoy driving around in the little car.

We also got our first real snow for the year and it was enough to try sledding on the little hill we have in our yard. While still inside, Norah loved the snow. She kept pointing to it and saying "snow" and even loved getting all her snow gear on. Once she got her snow pants on she kept running around the house looking down at them and the noise they were making.

Once we got outside she did not want to be put down! She also did not enjoy the sledding. We thought we would try it a few times and maybe she would warm up to it but she hated it.

You might be wondering what Abigayle was up to while we were out in the snow. She was just sleeping away and enjoying some quite time to herself. What girl doesn't love a little alone time? And don't worry, we kept checking on her.
