Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving this year! Some of my family drove in from Colorado to hang out for a few days and we had a great time. We also had a record high temperature for Thanksgiving which made it fun to go outside and play in the leaves!

Norah did not want to play in them alone

Abby's turn!

Of course we also had turkey ....

And my little turkey's....

Thank you pinterest for the idea for the shirts! I had fun making them and the girls looked ADORABLE!

There was parade watching and homework doing....

Lots of cuddling and napping ....

And even a birthday to celebrate!

I managed to find a moment to make Dave's favorite carrot cake and Norah loved helping blow out the candles. Happy 31st Daddy!

There was game playing and score keeping ....

Norah wanted to keep score, and also wear her winter hat

There was also time to go visit some extended family. One of my favorite cousins (who lives out of state) had a baby exactly 2 weeks before Abigayle was born so we just had to let all the girls meet! Aurora is a beautiful baby who looks EXACTLY like her mom and has the most stunning eyes!

And Abigayle got to meet one of her Great Grandma's! Our girls are lucky enough to have 3 living Great Grandmother's to spoil them with loving!

It was a great Thanksgiving weekend. I am thankful for my family, my husband who got to spend the holiday with us this year and for my home that even when it's packed full, is full of love. What are you most thankful for this year?
