Entering the world of blogging

Hello followers!

You might be asking yourself why in the world we would start a blog, I mean we already have e-mail and facebook and cell phones and are connected in about every possible way. The beauty of blogging as I see it is that it can serve as a family journal and will tell everyone a little more about the happenings in our home.

Right now as I write, Daddy is off changing a diaper and our newest addition is curled up on my lap. That's pretty much been our life since Abigayle decided to join us. Norah has been totally spoiled with attention from family members who have come to visit and Daddy taking some time off work. We'll see how she adjusts when life really gets back to normal. In the meantime we love being a family of four.

Norah loves being a big sister. She loves giving Abigayle kisses, bringing her the blankie, putting a hat on her head, patting her on the back when she is crying and waving and pointing to her throughout the day. It's amazing to think that only 16 months ago Norah was the tiny little baby all curled up.

Abigayle is an angel and just eats and sleeps. She cries when she gets her diaper changed, a bath or is hungry but that's it. And all it ever takes to calm her down is being held. She is quite a snuggly little baby.
